North County Fire Protection District currently has five fire stations, all of which are staffed with fulltime, paid personnel and Single Role Paramedics and EMTs. There are approximately 58 fulltime emergency services personnel, 10 support personnel,

The District's primary service area is almost 90 square miles with an estimated population approaching 55,000 people.  The Department also provides emergency medical services for 40 additional square miles outside the primary service area.
